ART /
CREATIVE WORK

For over ten years, art has allowed me to develop my skills while experimenting with new ways to create and express myself.

Constructed Fear

This piece explores the uncertainty and anxiety of looking toward the future. I transformed a familiar room by extending a narrow bridge into the distance, while cold blue light contrasts with the warmer surroundings to create a sense of unease.

The piece received a Gold Key in the 2026 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. It was part of my AP Drawing sustained investigation, which explored how internal psychological experiences could be made visible through distorted environments, symbolism, and light.

The Climb

This piece explores social anxiety and the fear of public speaking. The ascent toward the stage represents the pressure of facing that fear, while the bright stage lights create a sense of exposure and scrutiny. Beneath the surface, the structure begins to crumble, reflecting the anxiety and instability hidden underneath.
