I’m Emily Liu, a student whose interests have always extended across science, art, athletics, and the many spaces in between. I enjoy exploring different subjects and experiences, not only to learn new skills, but also to better understand how I see the world and what genuinely inspires me.
Over the years, research and academic exploration have encouraged me to ask questions, think carefully, and stay curious about things I do not yet understand. At the same time, art has given me a completely different way to observe and express ideas. Painting allows me to slow down, pay attention to details, and turn thoughts or emotions into something visual. My years of experience in rhythmic gymnastics have also shaped an important part of who I am, teaching me patience, discipline, persistence, and the value of steady improvement.
Although these interests may seem very different from one another, I see them as connected parts of my personal growth. Each has challenged me in a different way and helped me become more open to new perspectives. I’m still learning, experimenting, and discovering where my interests may lead, and I hope to continue approaching new opportunities with curiosity, creativity, and an open mind.
